About
The person behind BWAI.
I’ve been figuring out computers since before there was a career path for it.
In the early 1980s, my mother handed me a DOS manual and a BASIC programming book. The lawyer she worked for had just bought one of the first personal computers, and nobody knew what to do with it. She told me to figure it out. I did.
30 Years. One Through Line.
Every role I’ve held comes down to the same thing: figure out the technology, then make it work for people.
U.S. Navy (1994-2006) — 12 years across three aircraft carriers. Became the go-to person for every computer problem in every unit. Honor, Courage, and Commitment became the operating system I still run on.
Lockheed Martin (2008-2014) — Windows engineering team lead on classified programs. VMware SME. Managed mission-critical infrastructure that couldn’t go down.
Accenture (2014-2023) — Led the global virtualization team. Consolidated 17 data centers into 10. Managed distributed teams of 16-32 engineers across India, Argentina, London, Germany, Ohio, and Chicago. Multi-million-dollar budget authority.
Children’s National Hospital (2023-Present) — Senior Datacenter Manager. Leading a 15-engineer Tier 3 team. Overseeing $10M+ in infrastructure assets during the Oracle Cerner to Epic migration.
Why BWAI
BWAI is where I channel everything I’ve learned about infrastructure, automation, and team leadership into helping companies get real value from AI.
No hype. No buzzwords. Working systems.
